FDS Consult UK, one of the UK’s leading experts in fire engineering, is proud to celebrate its 15th anniversary this month.
The firm, which was founded in September 2001 by Gerard Sheridan and Andy Riley, has gone from strength to strength, providing a professional and expert approach to fire engineering consultancy.
Thanks to its innovative approach to fire engineering, which sees it consider the most appropriate solutions for each project based on the client’s requirements, FDS Consult UK has successfully enabled the realisation of ambitious architectural designs, while also providing substantial cost and space savings.
Over the past decade and a half, these qualities have seen the company appointed to high-profile projects, from The Corniche mixed-use development on the Thames’ Albert Embankment to the flagship store of fashion brand Alexander McQueen in London.
Work of this calibre has seen FDS Consult UK grow year upon year, expanding in its team to assist in the production of its strategies, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Modelling analysis and its client offering. This has also resulted in the company opening its new London office, bringing it closer to its clients.
Drawing on its history and experience, FDS Consult UK has hosted a number of CPD seminars and webinars, with its highly-rated technical presenters sharing their many years of knowledge in order to better educate those within the construction sector on the advantages of fire engineering.
