FDS Group, including Fire Design Solutions and FDS Consult UK, are proud to announce that we are taking our services nationwide.
FDS Group is a smoke control industry leader with their full-service solution to fire safety. We have extensive experience and knowledge across all aspects of smoke ventilation systems, from initial design and installation through to commissioning and maintenance.
This expansion will allow FDS Group to service many vastly developing regions of the country, especially in the North of England, with their extensive services.
In order to increase the FDS Group servicing capabilities we have taken on two new Business Development Managers; Michael Starr and Paul Hunt.
Michael will be focusing on growing our customer base in the South-East outside of London, as well as the Midlands, the North of England and Wales.
Paul will be responsible for developing new business in counties in the South and East of England, particularly for the Residential and Commercial sectors.
With many leading developers set to invest more in the North of England over the next few years due to the Northern Powerhouse initiative, this nationwide expansion news has been met with great optimism.
According to Property Wire, around 65% of developers plan to increase investment activity in the North of England significantly over the next two years, while 57% consider the North East as having the best opportunities.
As always, alongside substantial increases in development means a greater need for fire safety consultants and specialists to ensure the projects being proposed are safe and compliant.
