Following continuous growth within the company, FDS Consult UK, a leading expert on fire engineering in the UK, has brought on board three new members to its continually expanding team.
Two of the new starters will be joining FDS Consult UK at the start of their careers, having been employed as Graduate Fire Engineers.
Emmanouil Palierakis, a recent graduate from Imperial College London, completed his Master’s degree in Structural Steel Design and Business Management this summer. Joining him will be Mohammad Asif Irfan, a recent Fire and Explosion Engineering graduate from the University of Leeds.
Their roles will involve assisting the team in liaising with clients and architects to create fire strategies that meet essential building regulations, while taking an essential engineered approach to fire design. Their roles will involve working across a variety of sectors, ranging from residential and commercial to education and mixed use.
The third new member to the team is Bilal Ahad, a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer. His responsibilities include conducting CFD Modelling reports on FDS Consult UK’s projects. Bilal will use his CFD Modelling to assist with the detailed design of mechanical smoke ventilation systems, justifying the system’s performance and inclusion in a building’s design.
FDS Consult UK’s impressive growth wouldn’t have been achievable without its staff. Thanks to his impressive work as a Fire Engineer, Michael Hubbard has been promoted to Senior Fire Engineer. His new role will see him work across all sectors with FDS Consult UK’s increasing client list.
